The Role

As the Marketing Director, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and market expansion. You will lead a talented marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional departments such as product, sales, and customer success. Your expertise will help position our company as a thought leader in the payments space, engage our audience, and drive demand for our products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
    • Develop and implement a data-driven, integrated marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
    • Lead brand positioning and storytelling, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
    • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Brand & Communications:
    • Elevate the company’s brand presence and establish thought leadership in the fintech/payments sector.
    • Oversee all aspects of brand management, including corporate identity, content, and PR efforts.
    • Develop and manage relationships with external partners, including media agencies and influencers.
    • Create compelling content strategies for various platforms (digital, social media, events, webinars).
  • Demand Generation & Customer Acquisition:
    • Drive multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads and optimize the sales funnel.
    • Implement performance marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email, and paid media.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and optimize go-to-market strategies, including ABM (Account-Based Marketing) tactics.
    • Track and analyze campaign performance, ensuring a strong ROI on marketing spend.
  • Product Marketing:
    • Develop product positioning, messaging, and launch plans in collaboration with product teams.
    • Understand customer pain points, conduct customer segmentation, and create targeted marketing materials.
    • Support product innovation by gathering feedback and insights from customers and the market.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team, fostering creativity and innovation.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment across product, sales, and marketing efforts.
    • Encourage a culture of continuous learning, ensuring the team stays ahead of industry trends.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
    • Monitor key metrics to assess the performance of marketing efforts and drive continuous improvement.
    • Use data to inform decision-making and adjust strategies as needed.
    • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership to shape business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role, preferably within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling products in competitive markets.
  • Strong experience in brand strategy, digital marketing, performance marketing, and content creation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with payment technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements is a plus.

  • Experience in building and managing high-performing marketing teams within fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • A proven track record of success in launching and scaling new products or services within the FinTech or blockchain space.
  • Understanding of cryptocurrency regulations and their impact on marketing activities.
